International film industry website IndieWire reveals hopefuls for 2019 foreign language Oscar race with Asghar Farhadi’s new offering included.
IndieWire unveils the 2019 Oscars prediction list in the category of Best Foreign Language Film with famed Iranian director Farhadi’s ‘Everybody Knows’ deemed a potential frontrunner.
The other titles regarded as frontrunners hail from Lebanon, Japan, Italy and Poland.
The trade website praised Farhadi’s work as a “movie played well in France after Cannes,” adding the flick “could be submitted by either Spain or Iran.”
